Tiffiani Miller, PhD, is an accomplished and visionary leader with more than 15 years of experience in executive roles, spanning government, public health, and business sectors. Dr. Miller has a proven track record of driving transformational change and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
In her current role as COO and Director of Public Health & Policy at Ascendant Global, Dr. Miller focuses on maximizing the positive impact of policies and programs on both health and economic outcomes. She spearheads the analysis of government policies to address identified challenges within communities and businesses. Notably, she led the community needs assessment for a Chase Bank-funded project, evaluating the economic and health impacts of various food initiatives in a disadvantaged Baton Rouge community. Dr. Miller’s experience also extends to her role as Federal Affairs Advisor at Puerto Rico’s Disaster Recovery Agency, the Central Office of Recovery, Reconstruction, and Resilience (COR3). There, she played a pivotal role in aligning Puerto Rico’s COVID-19 emergency protective measures with state and federal public health mandates, resulting in over $57 million in FEMA reimbursements. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of federal funding for hurricane recovery efforts, exceeding $54 billion.
Dr. Miller holds degrees from Michigan State University, PhD Comparative Medicine and Integrative Biology, University of Georgia, MS Environmental Health, and University of South Carolina, BS Chemistry.
